Early Hardin County, Kentucky Census and Tax Lists

I spent most of the afternoon at the family history center. I was hoping to find some new information about the parents of Dorthea Johnson - perhaps in a will. Unfortunately, I didn't have much luck. One book I grabbed didn't necessarily have much information that I needed, but I decided to write down all the information it did have on the Johnsons in Hardin County - just to see how difficult/confusing this Johnson Family History might get . . . It looks like the Johnston and Johnson name is switched back and forth year to year. For instance, in 1799 you have Benjamin and John Johnson and then in 1800 and 1797 it's Benjamin and John Johnston.

The book I recorded these names from is: Early Hardin Co., KY Census and Tax Lists, 1793-1836
